The letter of the father of the girl published 12 June 2004 ___________________________________________________________________________ Dear Sir/Madam, I''m Faddeev Dmitry Alexandrovich I have been compelled to address to you, and this is for me the last way for of the rescue a life of my daughter. This is my story. I was born on 15 September 1967 in village Ochhoj Martan of the Chechen republic. My father was the Chechen and mum were the Russian. I have successfully received secondary education and have entered university of Oil refining of the Grozny city. After the ending of university I have entered a post graduate course and began a teacher activity. At 1992 I married Russian girl Maria. And on 10 March 1993, our daughter Natalia was born. But very soon the war was started, between Russians federal and Chechens local authorities, and I together with family have been compelled to leave the city Grozny. My parents were lost during an artillery shot which is destroyed their house. We have taken the all of most necessary, and have left the Chechen Republic with a column of refugees and have gone to the Novocherkassk city where mother Maria lived. There there is a Southern Russian State Polytechnical University and I hoped that I can will be employed in teaching structure. But when we arrived to Novocherkassk the majority of people has met us not so affably. Because we have arrived from the Chechen Republic and because, that I was on half Chechen. But God has not left us, and I has found job on computer firm. I worked from morning to the evening and , I could provide the family enough. We have moved from mother Maria to the own house. Which I have taken by installments. And I have bought not the dear but reliable automobile. Natalia grew happy and all was perfect. But in 2001 my wife Maria unexpectedly was ill by cancer. In the Oncological Institute of the Rostov on Don, she has three difficult and expensive operations. Then having lived three months my wife Maria has died. The death of Maria was heavy for me and likely was even more heavy for my daughter Natalia. I started to work assiduously to pay off with duties which have remained after Maria''''s operations. And only I have had time to pay off with all duties but troubles again came to us. In January 2004 the daughter began itself to feel poorly, she has made analyses and her have directed on inspection to the Rostov Regional hospital. Researches were three months. After inspections the doctors have said, that is necessary change for one nephros during three or three and a half of months. I have suggested doctors to replace my nephros in to the daughter, but they has made research and said that my nephros is not compatible for this purpose. Also doctors have told, that from for complexities of operation, operation can make only in Moscow hematological a centre of science. I have gone to Moscow and to me have said, that operation costs is near $17500 and more it is necessary to pay for a nephros of the donor. Total the sum this is near $27500. It is for me very big sum I have left the deposit for a nephros of $5000. Having returned in Novocherkassk, I have sold the automobile and all values which were in the house and have taken advance payment at job and also have borrowed from friends and familiar, but have managed to save the sum only $9800. But I would not have not enough still $12700 what to pay for operation. If I shall not find money for the operation to me will return my deposit in $5000 but who will return for me my daughter?! If not to perform operation the nearest two months(Till September), the result can be the most awful.
